Promoting Education for Sustainable Development through School Textbooks

Textbooks are one of the most important educational inputs as they reflect ideology, values, education theories, teaching practices and visions. This project concerns the review of compulsory school textbooks in the spirit of education for sustainable development. In particular, at this phase, through the use of quantitative and qualitative methods, the issues of water, energy and solid waste in the textbooks of primary schools are being reviewed.
